The ultra-light KSC17 Stereophone delivers high quality sound in a behind-the-head design that folds into an ultra-compact configuration that tucks neatly into a gym bag, backpack, or briefcase. Dynamic elements*, constructed from mylar for enhanced rigidity, minimize mechanical distortion and yield a full frequency response from 40-20,000 Hz. Neodymium iron boron rare earth magnet structures enable the KSC17 to deliver greater volume, even with low-voltage portable devices. Oxygen-free copper voice coils improve signal transmission and conduction for cleaner, clearer sound. Foam ear cushions provide an open, hear-through sound that lets listeners stay in touch with the world around them  perfect for working out, navigating the city, or listening at the office.

The KSC17 features volume control*** on the cord, making it easy to adjust volume levels immediately when the sound source is difficult to access, like when tucked in a bag or clipped onto a belt. At only 2 ounces, the KSC17 wears comfortably even after hours of listening. Accommodating all head shapes and sizes, the KSC17's headband won't interfere with hair, hats, or helmets, and stays in place even during rigorous activities like jogging and skateboarding. Perfect for use with portables, the KSC17 includes a straight single-entry four-foot cord. A 3.5mm (1/8") plug, L-shaped to minimize cord stress, is included.
